About Our Franchise

Keban Et was founded in 1976 as Keban Kasap. Although it started as a boutique butcher shop, the additive-free and delicious products it offered quickly earned it the title of “Meat Master.” Over the past 41 years, the business volume, product range, customers and employees have all changed — but one thing has remained constant: the unmatched taste of Keban Et’s meat and meat products. Keban Kasap is one of the rare meat producers that has managed to grow without compromising on quality, fueled by the loyalty and praise of its customers.

In later years, it expanded its production line while maintaining its standards. Today, as one of Istanbul’s most established butcher brands, Keban continues production at its Keban Et Integrated Facility with 1,500 m² of indoor space. Until recently, Keban Et produced only ready-to-cook meat products. True to its “Meat Master” title, it then began producing ready-to-eat, cooked meat products. To let people taste real, additive-free meat, it launched the Et Yiyelim brand, which quickly gained public appreciation. At Et Yiyelim restaurants, its unique flavors have made the brand a customer favorite.

Remaining true to its friendly, family-butcher identity while embracing modern developments, Keban Et launched its local burger project in 2016 under the brand Burger Yiyelim. What sets Burger Yiyelim apart is its burgers made from 100% pure beef with no additives. With its “win–win” business model, the brand has become a favorite among investors. What makes us proudest is this: out of a total of 44 Burger Yiyelim branches, 32 are franchises owned by just 10 investors — averaging 3.2 branches per investor. Moreover, the Burger Yiyelim brand has never closed, relocated or transferred a store to date.
